love poem

Simple loves

Sitting on a rivers bank

the sunset casting it's rays

the greenery hanging just right

the picture that somehow you needed to see

laying against his strong chest

the heat of his heart keeps you warm

the first blizzard of the year brings you together

the very presence of him being there is all you needed

Galloping up a mountain trail

the warm air whipping your hair like a flag

the power of every muscle pushing against the earth

the greenery flying by, changing every second giving something new

Watching the sunset

the many colors that mold together

the calmness it seems to bring to the earth

the clearity it forms giving you the answers you want

It's the simple pleasues of life that give you love

the excitement of adventure

the nececity of romance

the clearity of understanding

Life Story

"Cowgirl"

Tuff cowgirl
living through life
exploring, discovering, experiencing.

Ruff'n through family terrors
scrapping by parts and fly by others
trials, heartbreak, temptations.

Break'n free
finding herself in adventures
independent, strong, accomplished.

Find'n love
helps life become balanced
nature, cowboy, animals.

I Remember Poem

I remember spring
the heat of the new, to warm you after a long winter
new life being born
new flowers to fill the earth with beauty
the singing birds
I remember spring
I remember friends
the laughter and jokes we'd play till our sides aced
the phone calls
the simple look and you'd know what they're saying
new toys to share
I remember friends
I remember adventures
coming back home and having scratches and cuts to show
the animals and creatures
finding treasures and new secret places found and be found
the smell of nature
I remember adventures
I remember jumping
the beauty and power of the horse just beneath me
feeling free
flying over jumps with the wind in your face and the ground so far below
the connection of the horse
I remember jumping
I remember death
the horrifying gnawing in your stomach ripping to get out
the fear of it
the look on the others face and you see death it's self
the heart wrench of loss
I remember death

Journal Entry

Stan 11

My tea's gone cold! I wonder why I even bothered to get out of bed at all. It's the worst kind of day; it's cold outside but not cold enough to snow so it rains. The kids have already left for school and I don't want to clean this old house. Though I still have to...

I dump my tea an put some coffee in, then trudge over to the couch and pick up the book I was reading the other night. Opening it up and starting to read when a knock on the door gets my attention. "Ugh!" I groaned standing up. "Who in the world could this be," Just thinking to myself.

Opening the door I found a tall man with a black trench coat, and wet from the rain, he looked at me. It wasn't until I looked at his scruffy face that I realized who it was. Without any control of my mouth "Kurt!" escaped.

Forgetting about the cold, rain, and everything that was on my mind, I jumped into his strong arms. "Kurt, my love, your home," I whispered into his ear. "Yes baby, and here to stay," he whispered back.

For an instance time stood still as we held each other as tight as our strength could muster, without pain. Nothing mattered at this point my love was home from the war.

Hayden - Ok, ok I got it. You are going to get the Caliph.
Keith - Bring it
Hayden - You sure about this
Keith - If you don't want me to then you forfeit
Hayden - Oh I don't' forfeit
Keith - Alright then
Hayden - Money on the table
(both put the cash on the table)
Hayden - You ready?
Keith - Ready as I'll ever be
Hayden - K, go!
(5 min later Keith has eaten all the Caliph)
Keith - Wow that's intense stuff
Hayden - Ya, I can see that. I was getting sick just watching you
Keith - So deals a deal. (grabs the money
Hayden - Hey buddy, you don't look so good
Keith - naa I'm fine, just work'n it down
Hayden - haha, whatever you say

Sketch

Sitting in a lazy-boy that has been well warn in by many years. It's placed to the side and slightly in front of the fireplace. A dog curled up on a rug right in front of the fire takeing a nap. Hot chocolate in hand, to warm and comfort the inside, I glance over, looking out the window there is a heavy snow fall, but the clouds have opened Just slightly to show the world, for a slight moment, the beauty that it brings to the bitter winter. The hustle and bustle of the Christmas Holiday is quite; just for a moment as the fire burns to bring warmth to the small cabin home. The tree stands tall by the window, as if to show off for his friends just outside. He has a friend, next to him is a table-bench that displays a plate of cookies and milk. His branches giving off the pine sent, and the plate of gingerbread, leave the house smelling like pine and ginger. The perfect combination for this time of year.
