I wouldn't consider myself a writer, but I do like to write. I love to get new ideas and thoughts when I writing. I wanted to be in creative writing because I think it would be tons of fun and I would be able to get new ideas. I have written a few short stories and have shown them to other English teachers that have liked them. My favorite writing type I do is journal writing.
I love to read and I do it just about as much as I write. The thing that is the same about reading and writing is that I can only write according to my personality and mood. I can't just pick up a book and read the entire thing. If I don't get the story/book or just doesn't work with my mood at that point my mind wanders and I could be pages into the story and not know one thing. I read the words but it's like listening to someone without hearing them. Don't get me wrong I love to hear stories, but I write to my personality and read what intrigues me.
Journals are my main type of writing. It's not just day to day of what I've done that day or what has happened. It's stories and experiences that I have gone through. A quote that I really like, how I am felling or what I think about a topic that's going on or associated with that time period. I'm really not a poet writer or a long novel, but I do have thoughts and ideas that somehow make their way onto a page. I like to put pictures, cards, tickets, or anything that has to do with what I'm writing about with it.
I'm not planning on being a big famous writer or anything, just a type of remembering the past for me and the people I love and some I don't hate. There isn't many people I hate. I like to look back on what I've written and remember stories forgotten that make you laugh, cry or just something to enjoy.
